Hi, I’m Finn,
I grew up on the Gold Coast in Burleigh Heads, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Criminology and Law at Griffith University. During my studies, I was given the opportunity to take part in the innocence project which was an eye opening & valuable experience working on one case for 3 months.
After this, I was successful in landing an internship at a criminal law firm for some practical experience, this was my first law firm experience, and it was the best experience I could’ve asked for. I was pushed out of my comfort zone and learnt many valuable skills which I have been able to bring to my new role at PD Law.
I recently moved to the Whitsundays for a change of scenery and career progression. I am currently working as a Property Paralegal in the commercial team for PD Law, where I’ve been able to thrive in contract work and research.
Why Law?
In high school, I selected legal studies as an elective subject to study, and although it was a random choice at the time, I fell in love with the subject. Now, I work in property law and love the fast-paced changing environment that I work in.
How would you describe your approach?
After working with a multitude of clients including real estate agents, buyers, sellers & developers, I have seen how stressful and overwhelming it can be dealing with property matters. Each matter I work on, I do my best to ensure a positive experience for my clients – I update them regularly, ensure work is completed in a time efficient matter & ensure I understand their needs, concerns, and goals.
