Monika Gabor

Hi, I’m Monika,

I was born and raised in Hungary (Europe) and chose to live in this beautiful country over 20 years ago. I fell in love with the Whitsundays soon after arriving to Australia and now I can call myself a long time local.

I have a passion for accounting and finance, and I completed various studies in bookkeeping and accounting in both Hungary and Australia. Over the years I gained more than 10 years experiences as a Secretary, Treasurer and worked in the bookkeeping/accounting field to local businesses. I have partially completed a Diploma in Accounting – which I had to postpone for a while – however, I am planning to pick it up again and continue my studies in the coming years.

I love to learn new skills; in my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, looking after animals, drawing, painting, sewing, embroidery, building, and fixing things around her house. My lifelong passion about nature and animals landed me to rescue and rehabilitate Native Australian Wildlife for over a decade long.

I have a life motto that inspired and guided me through life: “If you really want something in life, then no matter what, you will find a way to make it happen. If you do not really want something, then no matter what, you will only find excuses…”
