Hi, I’m Tash.
I’ve grown up in the Whitsundays, going to both Cannonvale Primary School and Proserpine High School where I finished Year 12. After graduating high school, I went abroad for over a year where I worked in administration & hospitality jobs, before returning to Australia.
When I returned to Australia, I lived in both Cairns and Gold Coast for a couple of years before returning to the Whitsundays, to start a family. Over the years, my children have been able to grow up in my hometown and graduate from the same school I went to.
Since leaving school, I have always worked in administration roles, and took an administrative role in a law firm where I was able to progress my career to a paralegal role, since then I have been working in law firms on and off for over 15 years.
Why Law?
I took a legal secretary role in a law firm many moons ago and worked my way to a Paralegal role. From here, I then changed firms to PD Law, where I assist the Family, Crime & Estate Planning team with their matters.
I enjoy the face-paced environment law firms have and enjoy working with a range of different matter types – my work is always interesting, and I’m never bored!
How would you describe your approach?
I am understanding, and non-judgmental of people’s circumstances. it doesn’t matter what your matter type is that we are working on – it’s my job to reassure clients, and do my best to make them feel like they can trust me and the team.
