Hi, I’m Seda.

I was born and raised in the eastern suburbs of Sydney and completed my double degree in business and law at Western Sydney University. After my studies, I worked at a major Australian compensation law firm in Sydney for seven years, specialising in motor vehicle claims, public liability claims and historical child abuse claims.

My family and I purchased our forever home in Airlie in 2023 after falling in love with the area on a family holiday to the Whitsunday islands. Since relocating to Airlie, I have transitioned to property and commercial law which has been an exciting new challenge for me.

When exploring new job opportunities, PD Law immediately caught my attention. I was truly impressed by the firm’s remarkable history and rapid growth, as well as its adaptability to technological advancements and evolving attitudes and expectations in the legal industry. The firm’s supportive and positive culture, evident in its commitment to employee education and retention, further solidified my interest.

When I am not working, I’m a busy mum of two young children, fishing and exploring the Whitsunday Islands, gardening, exercising, or spending time with family and friends.

Why Law?

I chose this profession because it’s incredibly rewarding to build relationships with my clients and witness the positive impact I can have on their lives—whether through facilitating a new business venture or guiding them through a property transaction—this is what motivate me each day.  I acknowledge the trust placed in me as a lawyer and the genuine privilege it is to act as a client’s advocate.

Another motivating factor for me is the intellectual challenge it presents and being the first in my family to enter the professional services industry.

How would you describe your approach?

I am empathetic and strive to see things from my clients’ perspectives, allowing me to understand their needs and how I can best support them in reaching their goals. Coming from a family with a small business, I am acutely aware of the demands that business owners face while juggling numerous responsibilities. This insight drives my passion for commercial law, where I am dedicated to assisting business owners and individuals looking to purchase commercial properties.
