Hi, I’m Jes.
I grew up in a small town in North QLD, where I attended both primary & high school.
After graduating high school, I started my career in retail and hospitality, where I worked for a McDonalds chain for 8 years, working my way through the ranks to become a qualified Restaurant Manager.
After working in the hospitality industry for my entire adulthood, I was wanting a change of lifestyle & working hours and decided to head into administration where I can use my customer service skills to my advantage.
Why PD Law?
Law has always piqued my interest, and working as a legal receptionist has given me the insight into the processes and procedures solicitors and conveyancers are expected to follow. I enjoy following process and seeing how things work from beginning to end. Working in a reception role has been the perfect role for me, as it allows me to have an overview of each area of law and see where I would want to grow in the future.
PD law is a prominent law firm in my hometown, and I feel privileged to be working with a team who has had many recorded successes.
How would you describe your approach?
Working in hospitality creates the ability to develop attentiveness to customers’ needs and expectations. Providing outstanding customer service has always been something I have been passionate about, and I know in my current role I will be able to utilise my existing skillset.
