Hi, I’m Danika,
I am originally from the Burdekin. I completed my schooling years and full-time employment in the region before moving to Townsville in 2020, for a change. I began my career in Townsville as a receptionist for an accounting and financial planning firm, where I developed a solid understanding of the industry. After 12 months in this position, I was offered an opportunity to join the Financial Planning Team as a Client Service Officer. Over the next three years, I gained skills in client service, building strong relationships, providing support and navigating clients through their financial matters.
In 2023, I met my partner, who lived in the Whitsundays and decided to make the move last year. I continued my career in the Financial Planning Industry, but soon realised that I was ready for a new challenge. That’s when I was offered the opportunity to join PD Law as a Commercial Paralegal. While initially, I was unsure if this was going to be the role for me, given it was a major shift from my previous work, I knew it was the challenge I needed.
Now, I am thriving in this fast paced legal environment, where everyday presents new learning opportunities. I enjoy the office atmosphere, stepping outside my comfort zone and am excited to grow in this new career path.
