Monday the 12th of December 2016 was a major milestone for Hayden Grimston, who was admitted to practise as a solicitor in yesterday’s admission sittings at the Supreme Court of Queensland in Townsville. PD Law director Stuart Bell travelled to Townsville to move Hayden’s admission before His honour Justice David North, and importantly to buy him his first beer shortly after that!
Hayden said following the ceremony “I can see how days like today will remain special for my entire career. It’s recognition of some very hard work and a reminder by the Court of a solicitor’s primary obligations firstly to the court, our clients and colleagues. I’m very proud to have finally made it here and am looking forward to putting several years’ of solid training into practice now”.
It’s been almost a year since Hayden joined PD Law, who has enjoyed working primarily in commercial property transactions and corporate and taxation matters.
